Jonathan LaCour is the CEO and Managing Attorney of Employees First Labor Law (EFLL) and WIN Trial Lawyers, two of California’s fastest-growing plaintiffs’ law firms. A seasoned trial lawyer and strategist, he has built a reputation for aggressive litigation and innovative advocacy on behalf of employees and injury victims.
Jonathan began his career in corporate law, serving as in-house counsel at a large manufacturing company, before transitioning into employment law—where his true passion lies. Since founding EFLL, he has led the firm’s rapid expansion across California, handling high-stakes cases involving wrongful termination, wage-and-hour violations, FEHA claims, workers’ compensation, and catastrophic personal injury.
An alumnus of Loyola Law School and a graduate of Stanford University, Jonathan maintains close ties to the legal community and is widely recognized for his entrepreneurial approach to law practice management. He is also engaged in leadership and organizational development through Stanford’s LEAD program, where he has applied frameworks in change management, culture transformation, and strategic growth directly to his firms. His current Stanford initiative—“Shifting from Reactive to Proactive Case Management”—is driving a cultural transformation in legal practice management to further improve client service, litigation outcomes, and team performance.
